You are not an idiot my dear. They clearly did not package the box correctly! Labels should be much easier to find.

Not familiar with their system. When I had to return an item I'd bought online, I still went to the store. I am weird about not liking to deal with packages.

And I bought something in NYC that I need to return--no box so it's Back Bay for me. I have about 3 weeks to get myself there.

Umm... I am not sure. I do bring the items to the store. Have you tried calling them? I have done so in the past, they are very responsive.

ETA: Never mind! I am an idiot. Found the label in the box. =P

I have a coat that I need to return to Zara, but am being lazy and do not feel like going downtown to the store right now. Anyway, I requested a return by mail online a couple of days ago, but I've not heard anything from them yet, nor received a shipping label. Is this normal, or should I try again? I guess I am used to things like Zappos and Amazon where they give you a label to print immediately upon requesting a return.

ETA: just tried submitting the request again, and this time at least I got a confirmation email saying it's being processed. Still no fed ex label though?
