I often have kept such shoes due to hassle and sometimes expense of taking back. Or I have worn them out &amp; about and not able to return. But I’m determined to send such items back to look at it more like the cost of an excursion, like gas money or something. Still, it makes me limit my exposure to these return costs ( visible costs, haha— I know the cost is built in there) so I’m not as adventurous with online purchases as I’d like to be. I bought some sneakers but as is too often the case, they don’t seem as comfortable when trying on around the house once I got back home.<br /> Can they only be returned in a B&amp; M store, or is there any way to mail to a Returns department? I have just the paper receipt so no obvious way to generate a mailing label. It’s postage no matter what, so I could mail to DD and have her do me a returns favor, but wish I could skip the in- person trip. </p>
