The fit is typical of a Brazilian shoe in my experience: if you have high arches, high insteps, wider ankles, or a broader foot, chances are high that these will not work. That's why I did not put them in the YLF store. For a change, I got lucky that they fit my feet well. For a change, the Foot Gods were on my side! My long toes have enough room, and I do not have high arches or insteps. But I sized up half a size to a 7. I'm a 7-1/2 in some shoes and an 8 in others, but there was no 8, so I'm going with an 8-1/2 and hope it works and isn't too big.
