				<description>&#060;p&#062;Very odd. I order from J Crew online all the time and have always had a good experience with refunds from returns. I'd contact them again and ask for more information about the &#034;wear&#034; on the item, especially if you repackaged it in the same state as it was when you opened it. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I did receive a J Crew sweater once that smelled of cigarette smoke when I took it out of the plastic package. I phoned the customer service line and, after receiving a profuse apology, was told to ship it back for a replacement. J Crew covered the shipping costs for both the return and the re-shipping, plus they enclosed a gift card for the &#034;inconvenience&#034;.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And, Jennifer, I'm just curious--are you saying that you wouldn't buy anything by J Crew because you don't like an individual who was employed at one of the stores--or that you wouldn't let that particular individual assist you at your local J Crew store?

Crew orders in the past -- not getting the right item, etc. -- and like Sveta, he got profuse apologies plus a gift card for his woes. Oh, and eventually the right item, also.&#038;nbsp;

She hired on at my company so she had a &#034;place holding position&#034; til she could get the job she wanted at J. Crew. Told me that herself when she was leaving. As she works for the local one ,I refuse to shop there. She was Not a nice person and I will not put my money in her pocket.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I recently returned via mail&#038;nbsp;a number of items to J. Crew, including a pricey&#038;nbsp;skirt. When the return was processed, I noticed a discrepancy online between what was refunded and what I was owed. When I contacted J. Crew and asked why the cost of the skirt had not been refunded, they claimed that &#034;it had been worn,&#034; and that it wasn't a simple issue of the tag being off (though I never removed it).&#038;nbsp;I'm extremely frustrated by this explanation, as I wore the skirt for 15 seconds, and returned it to the plastic bag and paper envelope. Has anybody encountered this scenario before? I've never had this happen to me in any return.
