It takes away somehow. And as the article suggests, brands are now subject to sales. China has so much practice in comparison to Italy, I have to wonder how good Italy can really be compared to China. But, of course, it all depends on who and how. You have to determine quality from the item itself these days. However, they're probably cheating the workers in China.<br /><br />For $400, the shoe should be pristine or discounted. Those are very delicately styled sandals, I'll give you that, and I own Prada shoes. But I don't know if there's $400 worth of design, material and manufacturing in them.<br /><br />However, sandals are not something I'd spend a lot on anyways. When I got them in the mail, I became upset when I found out they are made in China and not Italy. And to top it all off, there's some wear on the heel, which is the last thing you want to see on $400 sandals. <br /><br />So here are my questions; is this generally acceptable or was I expecting too much? I don't mind paying for quality but this time I feel ripped off! I'm back to looking for the perfect gold sandals that are leather, simple thongs, and high-end. Any suggestions??
