What a challenging year for all of us.&nbsp;</p> <p>JAlleen, the clinic is 25 miles away (north on 101 most of the way) and normally a lengthy commute--not so bad right now with so many people at home. I was lucky to be able to get an appointment early. Some people were waiting on call to come in if other patients finished early. The doctor said she had 2 more patients coming in as we left. Long day for her.</p> <p>I wore the hoodie last weekend when it was cooler then now. When I came in for family Zoom with the Chicago folks I got kidded a bit for being so wimpy. Well, you get older you feel colder. At least I do.</p> <p>Carla, DH is taking good care of me. He loaded up our freezer a couple of weeks ago and right now is concocting a seafood primavera for us.&nbsp;</p> <p>Xtabay I once had a tuxedo cat with a pink nose who has to undergo treatment twice for skin cancer on that nose. One vet suggested I get her a little '49ers cap to wear outside. She would never have put up with it. She lived to be 19.</p> <p>Yesterday both cats hung out with me close by. They are now used to us mostly being at home and they weren't happy we were gone all day. Then this. DH has taken over the litter boxes and water bowls. I’ve had the same ongoing issue with a spot on my nose too . Freeze , slice , examine , repeat . Did this several years ago and it never seemed to heal and disappear . Of course , being in the tip of my nose , it was always being aggravated by Kleenex , masks , face washing , sunscreen application etc. Fast forward to a few months ago and I had the whole procedure repeated . Still won’t heal but it was finally declared free of cancer cells . What a nightmare . I’m glad to hear you’re cancer free too - and hope that ankle is back in shape soon . </p>
