I liked them so much that I bought them in regular length and skimmer. I haven't tried the girlfriend jeans. Are they a slimmer fit than the boyfriends? I ended up just going to the mall to check them out. I needed the larger size of my two "regular" sizes at Gap in order to avoid the wrinkling behind my massive thighs. I thought they looked okay but preferred the Girlfriend jeans in a size down. I still might get a pair if they ever go on sale. At least I have a handle on the sizing now. My butt is the opposite of flat and I think they might fit a flatter rear very well - they were sort of bunching at the waist for me. </p> <p>I am short but not petite. I'll need to hem them. On my long torso the waistband hits a few inches below my navel.
