I think the jacket works with jeans because both are very streamlined. The Elsons are very dark and have tonal stitching on the back pockets, and the jacket is actually a lightweight twill, but reads a bit more like denim from a distance. But it doesn't have that "westerney" denim jacket vibe. I'm not sure, but I think this is why they might work together. It is a new jacket! I'm really excited. I've been looking for a white jacket to replace that one I got last year on sale from J. Crew. I was never completely happy with how it looked. This new one is from BCBG and it's lightweight cotton/denim twill and has gold buttons (yay!). It also comes in a dark denim version (which I'm considering snagging), and green leather (which Patience got and looks *amazing* in). </p> <p>What's nice is that it works for pants (layered over a longer top), but is cropped, so it's the perfect length for dresses and skirts, too! Anyway, I'm talking it up a lot, hee hee. It's kind of got a motorcross feel to it, a bit edgy. If any of your clients are looking for something like this, I recommend it. It's a bit pricey, but I just got it a couple of weeks ago and I've already worn mine 3 times.
