Well, I do not remember them, since i didn't live in the country at the time, but I do have a pair of jeans from J& Company now and like them. They usually have nice embroidery on the back pockets.

Nicole, good luck to your nephew. I'll certainly plan to visit his place once he opens it.

It will probably be a few years before he opens. He has just secured his financial backers. He and his wife (she's also a chef) have a business plan, but I don't think they have secured their location yet. I'll hear more about how far along they are with their dream over Christmas.

This is his bio at WD-50 (where he works now) He's the third one down, Alex Stupak.

My nephew was really big into dressing in those ridiculous pants when he was in highschool. He looked like he was wearing a gown, the pant legs were so enormous. He weighed like 98 pounds and would wear 40" waist pants just so the pant legs would be wider. He'd cinch the waist with a belt, and the pant legs would be at least 6 or 9 inches too long. I never figured out what he was going for with that look.

He is now a world renowned pastry chef--making plans to open his own NYC restaurant!

Oh man! My absolutely FAVORITE outfit back in 1993 (seventh grade for me) was a hunter green long sleeved scoop neck bodysuit, and my super wide leg purple jeans with hunter green and red back pockets! I haven't thought about that in years.....heh.

If you don't recognize the name, surely you will recognize the style: Those ultra wide jeans tweens and teens used to wear in the 90's, with leg openings that could go as wide as 50 inches, and graffiti on the back pockets.

Anyway, I recently learned that they are now J&Company (not to be confused with J brand). Isn't that wild? I truly regret growing up in the 90's, at least stylewise. As bad as 80's fashion was, at least it has been updated into something good (skinny jeans, slouchy boots, tunics, leggings). I can't see anything from the 90's being updated into something better, but maybe I'll be proven wrong in the coming decade.
