I had to do a "call back" for more smashing and an ultrasound in January and it was all a false alarm but I was sobered by having to go through it and it made me think about what I would do if the news were not so good. I had a call back about 20 years ago but didn't go back then. My mother had BC at age 41 in 1971, resulting in a radical mastectomy. In 2010, she had a new case in her remaining breast and another less invasive mastectomy. She didn't ever have to do chemo or radiation. About 12 years ago, I had ultrasound and needle biopsy. That happened again about 3 years ago and that time it was an intraductal cyst. Since they can become cancerous, I had surgery to remove what remained. A few days later they called me and said I needed to&nbsp;go back for another round on the right side and maybe an ultrasound too. Not words you want to hear. I have very dense breast tissue so this happened at least once before, so I did not quite panic. Today was my appointment, stomach fluttering all the way in. I find these procedures extremely painful, and today it was worse than last week. I got the "all clear" which makes it all OK Big sigh of relief !!!!</p> <p>Since the gods have been good to me today, I feel I should pass it on. I'm sending healing thoughts to the YLF community where I know there are some dealing with health issues.</p>
