Thanks everyone for your replies! You have pretty much confirmed what I thought so the box is going back to LastCall (and I feel better knowing I am not keeping so-so stuff).

bj and unfrumped, with regard to colors, I like low contrast and navy is one of my favorite colors for t-shirts. My only hesitation is the neckline (if I bend down, for example, it is too revealing). If this color top was available in small, I would be all set.

I ordered a couple of similar tops from Amazon (one in mint, one in seastorm - same color as the navy tee) so I will check them out and see if one of them is a good replacement for the navy tee.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ.....#038;pf_rd
http://www.amazon.com/Three-Do.....pd_sbs_a_6
LOVE #1 and #2! I vote keep both of those. Those are an 11 out of 10.

The rest aren't 10s to my eye. I vote return.

My favorite on you is the navy tee in #2 -- color and drape are terrific on you. I understand the hesitation on the Vince sweater -- the length is sort of neither here nor there, you know? I think there is a better one out there for you.

Makrame, are you a low contrast lover? If so keep the blue three dots. I, myself, would keep both because they look really good on you.

If you want to keep a small closet, how about adding the olive long sleeve? I like this neckline on you.

Love the first two tops on you. They look drapey and so pretty. #3 looks pretty good--I could see that with bermudas for summer. It looks breezy and cool. I'm not crazy about the others--the green one looks like the waist is too high and not long enough to drape well. The terracotta one looks kind of boxy--not good enough for you, IMHO.

I really like #3. The green is not fab. I like the neckline of the Vince but maybe it is a little plain; but like the S better than M.
#1 and 2 seem on trend--which color would you use most? White is truly summery but maybe not if your other items don't support it. Navy looks good on you--do you have supporting players that would summerize that color for you?

I like the 3 dots tops on you quite a bit, especially the blue. The other two tees are nice, too, but the neckline seems to be doing something funny, particularly in the olive color. If so, I would pass on those (or at least the green one). The sweater is very autumn-looking and the sleeves seem sort of dolman but not quite in a strange way. I would pass on it.

I should preface this by saying I am trying to keep my wardrobe for the spring/summer relatively small and well-edited. On the other hand, I wanted to add a few comfortable, good quality items that would work for casual workwear (air-conditioned office, so lightweight layers, long-sleeved shirts or cotton sweaters work best) and for casual weekend wear.

I bought the relaxed high/low tee from 3 dots that looks so fab on Nancylee. The choice of sizes was somewhat limited so I could not get all the combinations of sizes/colors I wanted to try. #1 is white S - I like the higher neckline in this size but not sure how much wear I can get out of a white t-shirt (a lot of my toppers are dark so that would be a high contrast). #2 is navy M - I like the color but am not comfortable with the low neckline (although I liked it layered over a black scoopneck tee to add more coverage).

The rest of the items are from Lastcall. #3 is WIlt tee (very nice cotton slub; asymmetrical hem with a "rough", unfinished edge). #4 is green tee from WIlt. These two are about 1/3 the price of 3 Dots tees. I like the fabrication and the fit, although I am wondering whether they tend to look a bit tent-like from the side because of the wider hem. With the navy tee, I think the unfinished hem makes it too casual for work but it would be great for weekends. With the green, is the hem in front too short?

#5-6 - Vince sweater (S in #5, M in #6). It is in terracotta or rust color, not red. I am no longer used to wearing cropped sweaters so I can't figure out whether this has potential and what kind of bottoms would be best for this. The cotton knit is super comfortable but the length gives me pause.

I added stock photos at the bottom to show the details better.

What do you think?
