I am relieved to have packed them both up and now I am on my way to the post office to dispatch. Not an exciting photo at all, but A Good Thing!</p> <p>On the skirt, I think <b>Joy</b> you have a very good point. I am going to have the pockets sewn up and then when I start wearing it again with my white plimsolls I can see how I get on. I am still not confident about my legs (but it is increasing) so may be a shorten later this year might be a good thing. I am glad you like it though and I am pleased you think the denim works with it too. I might think about a wrap cardigan with it or a top that sits directly at my waist. The heels are ok but not great, imho. They look more dressy than casual to my eye. The slides are beautiful but I agree with Joy they can’t be purchased if they’re squeaking. Dealbreaker. The skirt seems like it has great potential, and the muted colour gives it a nice subtlety. Also like Joy said I think shortening it a teensy bit might be good too. In style terms, I think the block heel is a bit heavy as are the cross straps. So they are going back. I think...but I would welcome your views.&nbsp;</p> <p>The second are Paul Green slides. Lovely colour, gold hardware, good fit. But they make a sound when I walk and I don't think I can live with that.&nbsp;</p> <p>Then, this skirt, I love, but the fabric is a bit full, so to take the edge off it I am going to have the pockets removed and sewn up. I haven't worn the skirt at all for a long time. It seems too much for work, and so for the weekend with white plimsolls and denim seems more right. At least for now.
