Oh, that is great to know about the free shipping Ummlila, I've been working from home and am about to return to practicing law at an office...yes, the Turkish Blue is calling...lol, but I think the Paris Ink may be more versatile with my wardrobe. I already have a burgundy Theory suit that I could mix pieces with. Glad you're enjoying your haul!

I really like the quality of their clothing. I have been in the Newbury Street store in Boston a few times, since they opened about five years ago, alas, not on the YLF expedition.

However I have also ordered from them online. If you meet the free ship requirements, i.e., buy a few pricey things, they ship free two day from the UK. And returns are free and prompt. No import duty.

I got quite a haul this spring: two of the diagonal sleeve blouses, a couple of dressy jersey tops, a striped sweater, a quilted jacket, and a flowered skirt. And then the temptress had to go and post the picture of the green silk front sweatshirt. Anyone wants to see a picture on a short person let me know. I am tempted by the suits, especially the Turkish blue, but I don't wear suits often enough any more to need another one when I have a very decent Theory suit for occasional summer needs. (I'm a lawyer but work from home and so dress for myself rather than conservative office or court appearances)

Oh, maybe we are body doubles, Ummlila. That's good to know. I look at their *eblasts* all the time, but no stores around here.

Thanks Ummlila! It's so helpful when you and Suz have actually tried their clothes on. Their line looks top notch (love Suz's blazer) and I'm reentering the work world so I thought I'd upgrade with better quality clothes. I'm 5'6" but otherwise very similar to you...my AG jeans had to be reordered in a 29 though I often take 28, and my white Lucky straight legs are 27! It makes mail order a bit frustrating, but I live so far from a major shopping city (2 hours) that I don't have much choice.

I also wear between a 4 and 6 US sizes. I have a wide waist and narrow hips -- i.e. fairly straight shape. I have recently tried on some of Reiss' pants, skirts and dresses. Mostly the 6 was better. I found that the waists on many items were too small for me. One skirt was even too tight in the 6. And so this makes sense with what they told Suz because I have more like a 28-29 waist. Also, don't know how tall you are, but I am 5 foot 4 and the pants would also have to be hemmed (and some were just not right for a person of my height).

I haven't tried the pants but am super-tempted to order the ones that go with the jacket I bought. I emailed the people at Reiss about sizing and here is what they told me:

We do apologize for the delay in response the sizes listed on our site are U.S sizes.

These trouser do run true to size the waist in the U.S 4 will be about 26 inches and in the hip about a 35-36.
