I, too, have trouble identifying what makes any particular basic style "current" but it sounds good if it's being seen in more trendy lines such as Vince and not just in a traditional market. Also I struggle with sizing, but if you compared sizes and had any sense that the smaller size was skimpy or had a just-classic fit, I agree erring on looser style is best and aids in keeping it on the current side of things. I have 2 cardigans I bought in the past 6-12 mos that I already feel should fit more loosely. I asked a few weeks ago and have been checking around since...the old ones dropped all the way and came to a point in the front. All the new ones seem to have the thicker drape pieces/bigger collar near chest level, and&nbsp;fewer layers to drop down.&nbsp;</p> <p>So, that one seems very current, and a great color!
