I need to replace my clamdiggers from last year and am thinking of eventually getting a black pair and a denim pair. </p> <p>Do clams follow the "pants" shirt-length rule or the "skirt" shirt-length rule? I have some shorter retro tops I think would look cute with them, but they're not that long - I wouldn't wear them with regular pants, for example. </p>
