If the sleeve is plain at the wrist, it's easy. If it isn't, you either have to sacrifice the buttons or whatever, or leave them long. Or pay a professional to relocate the wrist decorations, if they're complicated. Right now, buttons at the wrist are very popular. They're not so bad to relocate, but one of my jackets comes complete with fake buttonholes. Not hard to shorten sleeves if there's no cuff detailing. I just fold the hem over once inside and rehem it. No cutting, no fussing. Purists would probably have a fit, but nobody can tell when I'm wearing them. And I have to do it a lot; I'm very short.
