I like purple and red together, but these styles clash. </p> <p>Are you going to wear these boots with skirts? The red Docs are much more funky and noticeable than the black. I'm not sure about wearing the red boots with a purple jacket though. But if you like to push the envelope and really draw attention, then it would certainly be a fun expression of yourself!</p> <p>I think it's difficult to pick between the black and red because it's like apples and oranges. Since you already own a pair of black boots, I'd say go for the red. You can always add a second pair of black or a pair of brown into your ensemble at a later date.
