I like to pair it a jean jacket or a shawl if it gets chilly. It is just that I see quite a few lace or lace appliques on summer dresses and was wondering if it can be worn casually. I know it depends on the content of the lace so I'm hoping that cotton lace would be more summery instead of the floral chantilly lace. </p> <p>I saw a red eyelet dress on a lady at the grocery store a while back and it got me thinking about it. I really like the first dress (photo #1). The pencil skirt keeps it from looking bridal or like a prom-dress. What about wearing a boyfriend cardigan or a denim jacket over it? The cap sleeved (#1) is cute, and I can see the sleeveless (I like #4 the best) worn with a shrunken cardi!
