I don't have the bootcuts, only some straights and I've tried the colored skinnies which fit well; the material is nice and thick and they are very accomodating of pear shapes. This made me feel more comfortable. I thought that they would make my thighs look bigger and to make matters worse, colored and patterned denim always comes in super skinny jean types making thick thighs look even more like sausages.
