I love the sleeve detail on it. And that red is so gorgeous! It really is cut like a shirt, which makes me think that you could perhaps "pop" the collar if you wished. It looks great with your skinnies; as others have said it might be too long with a skirt but it is worth trying out with a slim skirt just to see. How do you feel about it? Do you have other items to wear with it? Is this a colour you love? Do you like the texture? I say if you answer yes to all these, you should keep! And your husband is a sweetie. The collar is a hard one to wear as it feels closed up all the time because it doesn't have the open V neckline. I have a jacket with the same style and haven't quite figured out the best way to wear it. I think you have to just let it be a focul point. Necklaces or scarves don't seem to play well with that type of collar. I do like it alot on you. How does it feel? And do you need a jacket in your warm climate? It is great with your skinny pants but might be a little longer than ideal for wearing with a skirt. The color is beautiful on you and will be a perfect piece for the holidays.
