I totally get the need to bin these because they are worn. My nude suede booties looked awful after one year of hard wear and out they went. But it does make me sad that this shape is not so current. I just packed a black pair - exactly like this - for today’s trip. I love how they fit, and I can’t wear mules. Even if mules will stay on I don’t like how they feel (just returned a pair of Everlane mules like that). But, because I got warm, I unbuttoned the cuffs and turned them back and that worked. Obviously a less pristine look, but I always scrunch or roll sleeves on jackets, so for me it feels more natural than full length.&nbsp;</p> <p>Re the culottes -- it is partly an "eye needs to adjust" thing, I suspect. When I put mine on I sometimes feel like that, and I definitely won't wear mine with flats.
