My BF got green and purple Alain Mikli frames at just around 50, and they are great on him. Before that, he had 15 year old Armani gold circular ones that led people to refer to him as Harry Potter! So, keeping up with what's going on is not trying too hard IMO. You could have said the same thing about me wearing Converse shoes, and yet - they worked. I had the most boring outfit on, but chanced the Converse shoes and they worked out beautifully. </p> <p>I don't think it's a good idea to box yourself into these kinds of limits.
