I feel quite at home in New England, style-wise, and felt equally confident in my style when I lived in the the PNW. The SW, though, was a whole different bag. Especially since I was in LV, which is its own weird little world, aspiring to be LA but not quite cosmopolitan enough. It still feels like an outpost. I quite liked dressing for Las Vegas winters, though; my wool and flannel seemed exotic to people but were perfectly appropriate for the temps. That's really where I learned to wear jeans, too. Denim is so well suited to the desert.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm definitely picking up a euro-chic vibe from your new outfits. I don’t wear open toes in this city, because of the dirt. The legs in the green pants are narrow enough that the laces show even though the pants reach the tops of my feet. I’m fine with the way the laces show there. I’m less confident/comfortable with the jeans with these boots. Wearing pants that are intentionally short is new for me.
