Using Angie's method, I would guess you're one thing that tends toward another. Maybe an hourglass that tends toward a rectangle?? Or even just an hourglass-hourglass. I have found it most helpful. Both Angie and Imogen's body type theories are helpful starting points and have the same level of accuracy. I just found Imogen's to be more helpful for me because the description is 100% spot on for me with no exceptions. "Hourglass tending towards apple" also works and is just as accurate, but it means I have to sort through the rules for both the hourglass and apple and pick and choose what works, which is a little harder. I am relatively petite: 5'3" and a small frame, but I have a large chest, narrow shoulders and hips, no defined "waist," and kind of thicker thighs. In some ways I think I fit the rectangle profile, but at the same time, I do have curves: busty for my size and I have a definite butt. What type am I? I'd appreciate advice.
