I know I probably say this every time, but you have such a great way of creating different looks, yet each has a strong "you" style. </p> <p>My old cut required some pieceyness. My hair is very fine, but pretty much poker straight (with a few waves annoyingly limited to the nape area underneath). I found that Bumble and Bumble's Sumotech and Sumo wax products helped me attain a piecey look, often combined with some dry shampoo at the roots as Aida suggests. The dry shampoo helped me to avoid heaviness. Not sure if these will work for your hair, but though I'd share. As much as it feels better to freshen up the hair, by the end of the day my hair ends up feeling so BLAH regardless of length. I'm trying for a choppier, edgier look, which I can sometimes work to in the morning (although i've yet to try with this cut). Although it holds its wave pretty well, it also is so fine that it falls flat eventually. Then I end up with the sort of "mom-look" that I really wasn't going for in the first place. Obviously not meant as an insult because that's what I am and what I live. Yeah, I've done the stacked bob a million times before, but this time we were hoping for different layers than just the tapered stack so we chopped in here and there. Hopefully in wearing my hair wavier these days I can edge it up a bit. I've gleaned lots of hair tips from here in the past. If anyone has more to help me get a piece-ier look that would be great. Aida always has lots of good info (and thanks for that Aida). I'll take a skim through past posts b/c I'm pretty sure this has been asked in the past. And lots of hair talk these days too, to learn from, which is fun.
