Wow - thanks for all your comments and suggestions, they are much appreciated.

I only tried the cardigan with the long dress because of Angie's post, it was the evening and I was about to get changed out of my work clothes - so it is good that I tried that combination. I do have some cropped jackets and even a shorter cape, so those are toppers that I can try with my dress.

I am really glad there is love for the orphan puffer. It was an impulse buy 4 years ago, when I came across it on sale heavily reduced and thought that it was very cute. Then of course, it never got worn. However, I have some newer items in my wardrobe that now work with it and thanks to YLF, I have become more adventurous in how I dress. I will have to play with it to get some use out of this little puffer.

Fashintern - a velvet owl skirt - that is TOTALLY me!

I must give a big shoutout to LBD for her Costober Challenge, I would not have worn the Cruella inspired outfit without this. I will have to focus on this week's Costober challenge.

Love the Cruella outfit. Super glam. And what an amazing and unique puffer. Beautifully styled by you. You have a great eye for interesting pieces.
I too prefer the floral dress with the cardigan. I think with the cape the outfit has too much volume, although movement might make a difference. The maxi Cardi with the floral dress looks a bit 90s, and I like that era.

Great outfits- each very interesting. And yes, I think the puffer works well with the jumpsuit.
I do love the way you’re wearing the scarf in pic 1 aswell.

Amazing variety in these outfits and your smile shows how much fun you are having.

I prefer the cardigan with the long floral dress for the proportions -- it feels almost like a 30s look, especially with your platinum hair -- very elegant.

Your legs look a thousand miles long in the jumpsuit/ puffer outfit -- I adore that on you! Definitely wear and enjoy! The little puffer could be quite a useful piece once you start to wear it. Could work with dresses, too.

LOVE the pattern on the western dress. I'll bet the colours look amazing on you also.

Wow what a great collection of outfits. My favourites are the jumpsuit and the Cruela de Vil - but I love the new dress too both with or without the jacket.

2 is 1980s and a lot of fun!!

I am not sure about the toppers with the long dress - I think both are okay and I would wear to and from an event happily. But ideally I think shorter might work better? However I would not purchase something just for this reason.

These are so great.

Love the silk floral dress, but am also impressed by how much the blazer tames it down to be office wear.

#3 looks 60s to me. So sweet!

I like the dressy puffer too.

I thought of you & your new scarf when I saw this skirt at a new favorite label. https://www.whitestuff.com/wom.....vet-skirt/

The cape and puffer outfits are very modern looking. I've really liked your white booties outfits and agree they would work with the dress. I think that you, like Angie, are successful with white footwear due to 'bookending' with your hair.

You have some great pieces! I love that puffy cape and I like the way it's styled with the wide leg pants. Your Cruella DeVille is super fun. I like the floral dress better with the cardigan - it seems a little more flattering, maybe because the fit is closer.

#4 is SUBLIME - and you know that :)

This week was a bit of a mixed bag weather wise, some lovely warm days and other cooler days, so my WIWs reflected that. I quite like the changing seasons.

Outfit 1 - wearing jeans with the new owl scarf and a blue top belted over the jeans. I remember wearing tops like this in my teens!
Outfit 2 - new dress with my old faithful Zara blazer
Outfit 3 - Pink denim jacket, white blouse, pink and white skirt and white boots (felt very 80's in this)
Outfit 4 - for LBD's Costober challenge - my Cruella Deville inspired outfit, black dress and white cape with red handbag
Outfit 5 - long floral dress with cape
Outfit 5A - long floral dress with long cardigan
Outfit 6 - Black jump suit and formal puffer (the closet orphan, that was discovered in my wardrobe edit session - I am going to wear this to the ballet next month and possibly to a work dinner, as long as you think it does not look too out there). I like the puffer more from the side, it has a beehive effect!
Outfit 7 - my western inspired dress, rediscovered in the closet edit. I like the print on this dress (zoomed in photo). I think this dress could be cute with my white boots.
Outfit 8 - same dress as #2, worn on its own with different accessories.

During my closet edit I realised I have lots of lovely dresses and do not need to buy any more. My workout clothing is not great, so whilst that gives me far less joy than a wonderful new dress, I should spend some money on those and hopefully it will get me exercising more.

I would be interested to see:
1. Which outfit you prefer, the long floral dress with the cape or cardigan? Personally I felt more me in the structured cape and this is what I wore to work;
2. Whether the black jumpsuit and puffer work?

Your comments and suggestions are always much appreciated.
