The job is going well and I have passed the probationary period.&nbsp; I am not in queensland (am on the other side of the country) and it is starting to warm up here&nbsp; just in the last few days - maximum temps around 28&nbsp; (82 F) very pleasant</p> <p>So it seems from the many comments that it is fine to weath the elasticated belt. Your boots are a sign of our roller coaster spring weather- here it is sandals one day, boots the next. I cant answer your question about the belt but I am a fan of wide belts and I think it suits this outfit. I like the fluid shirt paired with a trim skirt. You could try this with a midi too, I think. I'm taken with the proportions and simplicity of #2. You might consider it too plain without the necklace but I think the dress and jacket alone provide an ideal frame to your face. But the booties and jacket in pic 2 provide enough structure to help keep me awake I think.</p> <p>Suz, I bought the dress primarily as loungewear because it ticked all my boxes - knit, high neck, long sleeves ( plus I love stripes - I am not sure if they are visible) but I don't feel restricted to only wearing it at home. At home the booties and jacket come off and on go my imitation uggs (pink), or slipper and my check fleece sweatshirt jacket (which pretty much obscures the dress) or an old black cardi.
