So I bought the 38 to compare - my foot slid forward, so toes felt cramped, and I could practically walk out of the shoes. I went to Shoppers Drug Mart and bought a kind of gel insert for the ball of the foot (Dr. Scholl). Put them in the 38s - and perfect. Keeps my foot from sliding forward and getting pinched by the pointy toe, and with the foot staying put, the strap stays on at the back. However, as so many of you have pointed, taking a picture really helps with developing one's style.<br />So I'd like to highlight 2 recent purchases, both from Zara. I fell in love with Ceit's mixed media jacket (&nbsp;pics 1-4), and it arrived this afternoon. I also fell in love with the sale price - so ladies please advise if I have my sales goggles on and should be returning the jacket. I can see it working really well in the fall and winter.<br />The other Zara purchase is a pair of silver pointy toe sling backs. Perhaps I have my sci-fi goggles on, but I love these babies. They seem to go with everything - I particularly love them with my genie in a bottle pants (also from Zara) and am planning to wear them for an upcoming afternoon wedding. On that note would appreciate your thoughts as to whether the grey&nbsp;sheath I am sporting is too dated (it's several years old).<br />Thanks for your comments and advice!<br />ps - bonus pic of my "babies"... they're all in bloom! </p>
