(Hello! Hope you had a lovely holiday, Julie.)

Love the straight leg jeans! I am not particularly partial to the wide legs. They need height.

The shirt is sweet but the jacket isn’t right. It’s not the best fit or colour. You can get better.

The straight jean is fantastic and is more flattering than the wide legs. This may be a height thing, but I don't think they do you justice. Like the blouse a lot and also thought the jacket looked a little big, but I do like it and think you could do a lot with it.

Thank you guys for your thoughts.
San - I'm actually pretty short. I'm about 5'3". I was standing on my tip toes in the picture.
I too am worried about the wide leg pant. I love the way they fit, but I don't wear heels with the kids. I was thinking I might be able to do a wedge shoes with them, but even those I have trouble wearing sometimes.
As for the jacket, that is the smallest size. I feel like Boden's stuff is running bigger these days. The more I put it on today the more I thought it looked a little big. I could shorten the sleeves, but I'm not sure I want to invest in altering the rest of it too. I will probably just think about it for a little. I really like the look of the jacket though.
Thank you for your input!

Hi, Julie. *Love* the straight-leg jeans on you. Very flattering. I don't find the wide-leg jeans as flattering, but as someone with a large waist-hip difference, I totally understand your point about the fit. Dani asked a good question: How much wear would you get out of them if they were hemmed for heels? I think the shirt is fine, but if you don't love it, would you really wear it? The jacket is very nice. I do think the sleeves should be shortened just a bit. Again, I echo Dani's question: Could you go down a size?

Welcome back, Julie. Hope you had a nice vacation!

I really like the jeans. I think hemming the wide leg jeans to a higher heel height creates a more elongated effect. How much use would you get out of them if you hemmed that way? I don't wear heels much chasing around my kiddos.

The shirt fits nicely. I agree with San, try layering it to give it more personality. The jacket looks nice...is it a tad big? The sleeves look a little long. Could you go down a size?

Lol about your 4 yr old taking your picture. He's a short photographer.
I like both pair of jeans on you. You look tall in the pictures. Correct? Definately wash the jeans before hemming. As the straight leg ones shrink or just soften up they may not need hemming, only scrunching.
The wide leg jeans also look great on you. My only concern with them is the tripping hazard with all that fabric and chasing kids.
I think the shirt is plain in style on its own but is a great layering piece for fall/winter. Looks like it fits good.
I love your new jacket.
I also love the pink top you are wearing with the jeans.

Hi everyone - here are a couple of things I recently purchased and I would like your opinions.
The first is my first pair of straight leg jeans. I found them on vacation. I think they fit well, but I need to hem them. I'm assuming I want them long enough so they scrunch some when I wear flats. Please disregard the shirt I'm wearing with the jeans.

http://i289.photobucket.com/al.....C00278.jpg

The next pair of jeans is actually a wide leg jean. I really like the fit, but they are wide. Should I hem them so that I can wear them with a heel? Do they look okay? I love the way they fit at the waist and hips which never happens to me.

http://i289.photobucket.com/al.....C00280.jpg

Then this is a shirt from Boden. I don't think it is perfect. The print seems a little big for me and it seems a little sporty, but at the same time it is a great shirt for being with the kids. Any thoughts?

http://i289.photobucket.com/al.....C00281.jpg

Last, but not least is a jacket I ordered from Boden. I really like the fit and the picture doesn't do it justice. It nips at the waist very nicely. I thought it was more of a blazer, but it is a jacket good for the early fall. I might have my husband take a picture instead, but I think it fits nicely. My 4 yr old son tried to take a picture, but he just got my crotch!

http://i289.photobucket.com/al.....C00282.jpg

Thank you everyone for your opinions!!
