But yes, comfort over all else!</p> <p>Mr. LTS had back surgery in April to address debilitating nerve pain down his left leg. It worked like a charm -- immediate relief. He has now returned to favorite activities he'd had to give up -- golf, bowling and long walks with the dog. My ankle boots I bought there years ago are still my favorite and most comfortable pair of boots. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/recent-biz-trip---comfortable-sandals#post-1948809 Fri, 17 Aug 2018 17:08:01 +0000 Laurie 1948809@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>My reason for posting this outfit which I wore earlier this week on a trip to NYC and St. Louis is the shoes.&nbsp; &nbsp; As I've mentioned, due to upcoming back surgery to hopefully resolve severe nerve pain down my right leg, I have been forced to get rid of almost all heels.&nbsp; I was so happy to find a wedge/platform sandal that gives me height, and is so incredibly comfortable.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>I bought this Rockport Briah sandal in white, originally.&nbsp; I've never tried Rockports before and was blown away by the comfort.&nbsp; &nbsp;As I am wont to do, I immediately replicated in black!&nbsp; &nbsp; I wore these sandals all day for 3 straight days - ran through airports, stood on my feet at a trade show and walked blocks in both cities.&nbsp; Yes, my leg and back were killing me, but my feet were so happy!!</p> <p>They really run big.&nbsp; I am a true 8.5W and these are an 8W.&nbsp; &nbsp;I think I could have worn an 8.5M comfortably.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;They look a bit clunky in these pictures, but the comfort wins over everything.</p> <p>I didn't love things I had in my suitcase on this trip, and did not feel fab most of the days (being in pain had a lot to do with it), but I am liking this Loft knit jacket.&nbsp; Travels well, and kept me warm in the freezing AC.</p> <p>I'll be sporting a lovely back brace for the month of Sept., so won't be posting much, but YLF will keep me company in my recovery and I look forward to seeing what everyone wears as we end the northern hemisphere summer, and move into fall. </p>
