For some reason I love how the sales clerks at Nordstrom walk around the sales counter to hand me my bag instead of handing it to me over the counter. I like to think I don't have an inflated sense of self importance but it holy moly that makes me feel so appreciated. Our local store is friendly with excellent customer service. I'm not a big spender, but I've even received thank-you notes from associates after a purchase. It's always a pleasure to shop there and it's sometimes a shock when I go somewhere else and I forget that it isn't like that everywhere. When I can buy the item at another place or Nordstrom's I tend to go with Nordstrom's because of the ease of returns if I need to. I've never had an impolite sales person, online or in person, and the merchandise I receive in the mail is always packaged beautifully and has been accurate. When Nordstom's has a sale it is a serious decline in prices.</p> <p>Sometimes I get an email from Nordstrom's that they are sending a few items from my order, and a few will take longer to arrive for one reason or another, but they always email me and tell me when to expect the pkgs. Some things must come from a different warehouse further away.</p> <p>I love Nordstroms. I used to think they were for rich people only, until I started shoping there and realized that the sales mean I am not paying much at all, and the commitment to their customers is amazing. Even if it means I can't afford to buy as MUCH. Which is fine by me. </p>
