I am into the giant cuff length. I really like that. And a pointy shoe.

Your opinion means a lot Angie I am hoping to tailor the size of the fold to hit at a flattering point on the leg. It may be an epic fail but the jeans are ruined anyhow so nothing ventured and all of that...

The length on the wearer and how she manages to create a flattering leg line will very much make or break the look to my eye, Jules. The model is sitting down, pulling her one leg up, and she's tucked in her top. These details add to the flattering effect in the photo.

You know how sticky I am about cropped lengths that flatter! Take my opinion for what it is worth to you

I recently came across this denim styling tip in September's UK Elle magazine.

'Step 1
Choose the right jeans. A classic pair of Levi's 501 are ideal. Failing that steal your boyfriend's pair, this is all about getting the masculine shape.

Step 2
Make sure the sizing is right. You need a pair with too long legs - I'm (Natalie Wansbrough-Jones) 5ft 6in tall, so a length of about 34in works for me.

Step 3
Cut of the bottom hem, to get a rough edge. Then turn up approximately 6in.'

I think I'm in. The rough hem is RATE but the crispness of the turn up gives just the right amount of polish for my style. I am thinking of trying the look with a pair of jeans where the hem has started to fray.

Are you feeling the reworked boyfriend jean for fall?
