A classic pair of Levi's 501 are ideal. Failing that steal your boyfriend's pair, this is all about getting the masculine shape.</p> <p>Step 2<br /> Make sure the sizing is right. You need a pair with too long legs - I'm (Natalie Wansbrough-Jones) 5ft 6in tall, so a length of about 34in works for me.</p> <p>Step 3<br /> Cut of the bottom hem, to get a rough edge. Then turn up approximately 6in.'</p> <p>I think I'm in. The rough hem is RATE but the crispness of the turn up gives just the right amount of polish for my style.
