With the exception of my daughter and the young woman who works with me (both in their late 20’s!), I don’t have people IRL who are interested in talking fashion/wardrobe so I really appreciate being able to share here. Carter- I’m sure I’ll be using my cobalt satchel…does that count?! What colors are you using for spring? Laura- I think I will be really happy with the colors. I am especially eager to wear the turquoise Eileen Fisher sweater. Suz- thank you! I love the idea of “vibrant calm.” I hope the links were helpful? Thistle- shoes are often the favorite part of an outfit for me. Denise- thank you! I would love to see what you pull together! Caro- thank you! I hope the sandals prove to be as much of a workhorse as I anticipate; I really do love them. I would love to see photos of your autumn/winter collection. Gauche- I hope my links helped. Meredith and Citygirl and Maia- thanks! It’s hard to beat shoes, right?! AM- thank you, you are very sweet. I am anxious to wear those sandals! If I keep the necklaces, I will post photos. Ruth- thank you; the colors do feel right for spring and summer. Although I like brights for warm weather, I always have to include my black and white! Angie- thank you! You deserve a lot of the credit for helping me to reach a really good place in my style/wardrobe. Lisa- I would LOVE to organize your closet! Did I mention that this is my extra closet, in our guest room?! Frannie- having outfits ready to go has been a godsend. They don’t always work as planned, but limiting my focus in the morning is really helpful. Windchime- thank you. Bright colors do make me happy in warm weather! Carla- I’m not sure that I really set out to limit my palette. I’ve always liked citron and lime green and colors that feel tropical, like the turquoise. I rarely wear pastels but I found a mint top from Vince Camuto that appealed to me. Deborah- thank you! You probably have the ultimate cohesive wardrobe so I appreciate your kind thoughts. Jen- I’m glad to know that I am not the only one! Summer- thank you! In general, I prefer winter clothing to summer but I am really happy with my choices this year. Carolbee, thank you! I sort of like shoes :) Karie- thanks! We are still having winter weather too which is unusual here. Some years we get some spring like weather as early as February but not this year. Lucy- thank you. I’m not sure that I set out to limit the colors but I think it will work well. Rute and Shannon- thank you so much! Lyn- thanks for making me laugh! Gigi- I think what I want could be called moderate too…do you know how many pieces you have?  I think color is a great idea! I do still tend to prefer solids over patterns so I think that helps with mix and match. Metallic shoes are a go to for me; I find them interesting yet very versatile. Krish- thank you; I am flattered. With pants, I’ve actually switched a lot of them to the straight bar type hanger (copying DH!) so only a few will remain hanging full length. I noticed you hang your pants straight up. Have you ever tried pinning them from the bottom hem, so they hang upside down?
