But I really loce the booties now;) </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/reader-i-chopped-them-up#post-1154257 Fri, 31 Jan 2014 16:16:30 +0000 ironkurtin 1154257@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Some of you may recall I purchased some Rag and Bone boots final sale off the site.&nbsp; They were described as gray, and despite reviews on other sites that said they were hard to get on, I went for it.</p> <p>Well, they are not gray, they are BROWN.&nbsp; Not sure who decided this was gray, but I know brown when I see it, and these are brown.&nbsp; And they were IMPOSSIBLE to get on.&nbsp; The seam at the back of the heel cup was too high, so I couldn't get my foot in enough for it to slide the rest of the way.&nbsp; Worst of al, final sale.</p> <p>I refuse to be thwarted by a pair of shoes.&nbsp; So I took a seam ripper to the back.</p> <p>The original plan (1-3) was to velcro the sides and the tab in back, so that the tab would hide the velcro as much as possible.&nbsp; This would have worked if I hadn't grabbed the tab to pull the boots on - and the whole thing ripped off.</p> <p>So onto plan B.&nbsp; You can now see the seams (4), but I can get into the boots (pics 5 and 6).&nbsp; Side note: these pants are giving me what I believe the Man Repeller calls a Polterwang.&nbsp; Men's pants are certainly an adventure.</p> <p>Taking suggestions as to what to do about the "gray."</p> <p>- Rag and Bone boots<br />- R13 men's jeans<br />- Enza Costa top<br />- Helmut Lang (new line) cord moto </p>
