No, not crazy at all! We can really go from hot to cold on an item quickly.

Once I walked into WHBM and saw these cute bootcut jeans in the front of the store. They had rhinestones on the back pockets (ooohh...). Anyway, I had to have them. Well, I needed the short inseam, so they had to order them. When they arrived, I tried them on and hated them and was angry that I had ordered them in the first place, because I had been trying to be more successful with my purchases. I stewed over it for a few days and then decided to try them again. The second time, I didn't think they were so bad. So I decided I'd keep them. Now they are my favorite pair of jeans! :)

With regard to getting the sale price, if you call AT and tell them that the size you ordered is too small, they should ship you a replacement for free and for the sale price. Then you return the original to a store or by mail. I have done this a few times with stuff.

I've been hasty in rejecting before -- the Bailey 44 tiered dress. I went back and got it after resounding forum encouragement. It's still in my closet.

I think it looked really great on you, so I can understand why you're reconsidering.

The dress looks fabulous on you. It's a super wedding guest dress.

And sure, I've sometimes rejected something and thought better of it later, in a different mood. Or in a different year. That's why we post K/R threads! :)

I am backstrokin g and reconsidering the AT dolman sleeve dress shown in an earlier post. Tried with .. ah.. more shaper hose. And also thought it didn't really creep up much, is just a bit short at that above knee length and the skirt is more bodycon than my ideal but not
inappropriate- looking.
Thing is, I just love how it looks and also think the fabric has Forgiving Optical Qualities. It's a matte crepe jersey and so in this medium navy, it is kindly light- absorbing but not harsh like black.
I'm thinking of ordering a size up even though it could be a waste of shipping and not sure I can get the sale price, just for curiosity , but plan on the current size as likely the best fit.
I'm thinking for $50 I will give it a bash and wear to a July wedding.
Does this sound like total loss of PPP? Is it like pulling an item out of the dustbin when it should have been purged? Or have you sometimes been too hasty in rejecting something?
