I have this bag in a printed front and I quite love it; I am not quite sure if you can fit a small water bottle in it though, depending on how small "small" is - I can fit a can of ginger ale in mine (but I do have a lot of random stuff in mine too!)

I hope your favorite can be saved! But if not, the new one is beautiful, too.

Ok, I'll take it in and at least get an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it. Thanks for the push to do that.

I agree with Zapotte--do try taking it to a cobbler. They can probably sew or adhere a leather patch to the back side to strengthen it. It is amazing what a good cobbler can do. No reason to give up on it without making at least a minimal attempt to see if it can be fixed. That doesn't mean you shouldn't replace it, just don't throw it on the junk pile yet.

I missed your other thread but have you taken it to a cobbler? Perhaps they can repair it.
I really like the new bag. It reminds me of a take on a traditional bag from my native country, which gets modernized for street wear. The traditional bag is called carriel. I wanted to get the modernized version, on my last trip, but I completely forgot about it.

For those who didn't read my brief, sad story... my favorite and only Fossil bag has a hole! It's at an obvious stress point so either I accidentally overloaded it (doubt it) or it isn't a good design. I paid cash for it so I have no receipt to attempt to warranty it. I put a bit of stress on the hole and it immediately got bigger, so I don't see the point in trying to fix it. :(

So I ordered one almost exactly like this one, but it must be last year's color because it was $55 less! I got the last one they had at that price. I've never had one with a flap before so we'll see how that goes. I'll try it out around the house before I take the tags off. I really need one cross body bag big enough to manage a small water bottle for day trips and I hope this fits the bill.

http://www.zappos.com/fossil-v.....flap-brown

The link isn't working right. The bag is right but I got the all dark brown one. ;)

I'll miss my gray holey one though. It was a great bag.
