Today I went to an awards program for the annual amateur exhibit at our county arts center. My painting was accepted but ineligible for award since I once had an exhibit (of quilts) at the center. New rule. ? Oh well.<div><br /></div><div>I wore jeans and Nike tennis shoes with a cotton print shirt I made. The gallery was very crowded, which was great because of course the past few years have been sparse attendance everywhere.&nbsp;</div><div><br /></div><div>I also submitted a wall quilt but it wasn’t accepted into the exhibit. It’s about 45”x48”. I enjoyed making both of these pieces and that was definitely its own reward. I’ll go back to see the exhibit at closer view when it’s not crowded some weekday soon.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for looking!</div> </p>
