That said, I do believe twinsets (matching top &amp; topper) are 'in' right now, so I may technically be 'old-fashioned' with my preferences. </p> <p>Agree with @rachy that cardigan is fab on you - the ballooned sleeves/ blouson slouch stops it from feeling 'too' classic. It's still chilly here in mornings and evenings, and will often be so in the next weeks. I realized I needed some more cotton cardis. Got this on on sale at BR a few weeks ago--thought I'd try the slouchy look. Don't love it but I like the color. So I put it on and decided to wear my new sale Vionics. Surprise--nearly a match.&nbsp;</p> <p>Now back when I was a teen, with a matching belt I'd feel so well-put together with a similar color matching scheme. (Yes, I had a 19" waist back then. I avoid belts that show these days.) Now I'm thinking--Does this work anymore? Shoes a little big--at least until my feet swell, so I grabbed some socks. Oh dear, matching stripe!</p> <p>I haven't had so many colors in my closet in years. Covid and desire to experiment may have led me astray.</p> <p>So, when do you match colors, and where, and well, is this a thing or should I wear these separately?</p> <p>I'm not going anywhere today except family zoom, so this is all an experiment. I could go crazy and add other coral-orange items. </p>
