Sal, yes, it is especially nice to wear a top nice and loose after a big meal!  Though as lisap points out, tucking and wearing a belt is kinda my thing. Thank you, mirjana, Staysfit and Tanya! Y'know, my favorite dress IRL is actually the burgundy silk in pics 2-3.  It just flows beautifully and feels so nice against the skin - I wore it to a dance lesson recently, so had an opportunity to observe it in a mirror while moving.  But in a picture, it is kind of "meh".  I need to think of "moving" occasions to wear it for. It seems as if our style has a lot of overlap. Though it sounds as if your summer is as long and hot as my winter is long and cold (or at least messy). So, if you would, will you please explain to me why I have just as many sandals as boots and cannot seem to stop myself from buying them? :)  I seriously have a problem. I have weaned myself from all other foolish buying for a climate I don't live in, but this is one area where I continue to go nuts! (Mind you, I have to admit...I do wear the sandals, somehow...). What I don't wear, a lot, are dressy booties...because our weather gets too rough, too fast -- yet I persuade myself I will wear them, and then I don't wear them. Hmmm. If I worked in an office they'd be on my feet all the time, no question. It's the combo of lifestyle with climate. Okay, so now I have worked that out, justified my sandal expenditure, and feel ready to tackle fall. Dianna, dresses are so comfy on a hot summer day - I'm glad you like the look of them. Emily, RTR is risky - you always have to have a backup available in case the item just doesn't work. I've never used it, but both my daughters rent pretty regularly. Also, I know a number of younger professional women who use the subscription membership for business wear. It's kind of like Netfix - I think you can keep 3 items at any time. If I were still working, I think I would give it a try. Sterling, yes, she hit it out of the park when she picked that dress. Which is a shame, because it would look terrific on you! It's even your color! skylurker, you are right that tucked and belted is more "my" look. But it was nice to wear untucked and loose when it was 102 degrees! delurked, white jeans are the best, aren't they? I am pleased we've had more cooler days this year so I am getting to wear them more than I ever have. I like the way the floral shapes in your dress echo the lace in hers!  I really like the dress in 5/6 on you -- what is that one?  As for the top -- depends on the day, I think. If you are at home and it is crazy hot, untucked looks cool and easy. But tucked also works to my eye.
