It means layers for cool mornings that can be removed for hot mid-day. I've been putting away much that is sleeveless and white bottoms and jackets. The sandals need to be put away too to make room for boots. I like fall, but it is usually too short. I'd rather not have to bundle up in heavy coats for months. Sometimes fall weather can last until mid December. It's been in the 80s- 90s every day; we'll start to see a cool off towards the end of October. I am ready for cooler temps. We have been having lovely weather in London with lots of sun and highs of 21C or 70F during the day. Not cold enough for boots and tights, but not warm enough for full on summer dressing. </p> <p>Today I have a silk shift dress on with black opaque tights. We have had a few days recently where it was colder - by 15 degrees - inside the house than outside, which threw me for a loop, as I ended up overdressing. </p> <p>As far as fashion is concerned, I'm finding the uniform of short sleeve blouse, jeans or skirt, ballet flats - with a cardi or blazer for night - works best. I've only worn boots once so far. Having to wear sweats to bed when it is still this hot in the daytime feels absurd. I know that it's coming, and I will bemoan the cold weather shortly after it's arrival; but right now I just want it to feel like fall! I can't even wear closed toe shoes yet.<br /> What's your weather like right now (and where are you)? </p>
