Auburn, it's just the 27's. I've never owned skinny cords, but do know that regular cords do tend to stretch. As for these not looking snug - you haven't seen the waistbands! And felt the strain across the hip at the base of the zippers lolol.

I don't know, Malina, this is a tough call. None of the ones you posted look overly snug to my eye at all. And, as I mentioned, corduroy will act quite differently to stretch-less denim. Are both sizes of the R&B pants available?

Now I'm confused. These are my 27 jeans - Ralph Lauren red motos, Miss Me bootcuts, True religion straight leg, black ankle zip J brand, Taverniti So straight. The J Brand and Taverniti (because they have no stretch) are the smallest.

Hm, not to throw a wrench in but I think J Brands run yuge! I am a 28 or 29 in Rag and Bone but a 27 in J Brand. BUT that is the older Rag and Bone, made in New York or North Carolina, not the new /jeans line. I feel like the /jeans line runs a little bit big. If that helps.

Mo, I have J. Brand experience, but no Rag & Bone experience. I wear a 27 in J. Brand, too, and they are "snug." What's funny is that my Pure (blue) seems like a better fit than my black J. Brand jeans. I'm wondering if it's the color that changes things, too. Let me know how you like the Rag & Bone; I may branch out!

I have never tried Rag & Bone pants or jeans. I have a dress/tunic and I feel it runs true to size.

Thanks, Auburn. I wouldn't dare go smaller than 27 lol! Those J brands are s n u g. Good to know the fit is comparable to the smallest jeans I already have!

I consider Rag and Bone to fit pretty comparably to J. Brand (which, in turn, I consider to run a bit small relative to some other premium denim lines).
I wouldn't go any bigger than a 27. Also keep in mind that cord vs. black denim is quite different and cords will stretch out more as you wear them so I would err on the smaller size when in doubt.
Can you order both a 26 and a 27?

I spied a pair of gray cords by Rag & Bone but have no idea how that brand fits. Any input would be much appreciated. Specifically I'm wondering if they tend to run small and/or very low rise. Either would be a deal breaker. For comparison, I have some J Brand black ankle zip skinnies in 27 that are quite snug, but fit. I wouldn't want to go any smaller. Thanks for any help!
