Their new /jean line is sized differently from their earlier lines, and of their earlier lines, the ones made in S. Carolina fit differently than the ones made in NYC. I wear a 28 or a 29 in their jeans, Rae, a 27 in current elliot and 7FAM, and a 28 typically in CoH. I think you are smaller than I am, so I'd try a 26 or 27. But if you and AG show me which you are looking at, maybe I can help more. Thanks for the info; I probably would have tried the 29s if left to my own devices. Good to know that the size chart is thigh-wonky for you, too. That is so odd... we really do need a new fruit. The only thing that comes to mind is butternut squash - while technically a fruit, it's so not as cute as an apple or pear, lol. ETA: oops, not on sale. There is give in the back waist in the 27 on me. I do feel they will stretch, I could tell already when I was taking pictures. If I followed their size chart I would be a 26 for waist and hips and 30 for the thighs. (We need a new kind of fruit for the small hipped and large thighed population, maybe a strawberry.) Have you actually found them somewhere for less? I don't have anything from their collection, just their denim. I wear a 26 or a 27 in denim, for Rag & Bone I am comfortable in a 27.
