(Have lately been ordering online more often than not.) But they still have a comfortable area where hubby can sit and read a book or people watch. And whatever music they are piping in has the same relaxing effect. Once in a while, they have a solo acoustic musician out by the cafe... but that could be a mall hiree. Anyway -- the ambiance is always pleasant and unhurried. They are doing something right because we keep coming back. The customer service rep couldn't have been nicer. Nordstrom's really does have a winning formula. Nothing quite like them. I am not at all surprised that they are doing so well and that they are expanding outside of the USA. I generally hate mall shopping -- but popping into Nordstrom's is always a delight.
