They were $80 so $4 PPW so far. BUT I expect shoes to last far longer than that - some of my shoes are 10 years old! And these were originally $165, I got them on sale. </p> <p>IK, don't know about a solid heel - the shape of these with the wedge is pretty unique. Well, I had just put them on for one day and they started to separate again! I took them back and he said he had one other possible solution, which was to seal them around the outside and color it to match the shoe. He commented that they are adorable but not well manufactured.</p> <p>BLARGH! These were not cheap, though on sale, but they are obviously cheaply made. I've gotten PPW out of them since I wore them at least 20 times this winter ($2 per wear which could be better but is not bad), but still - ONE SEASON?! For a style I adore? Would you complain to the company or just chalk it up to experience? </p>
