I had Dr Scholl inserts, and my feet were comfy.</p> <p>Re air travel, my personal experience is that Southwest has been frigid, and Turkish Air has been comfortable. </p> <p>As for LA, I’m sorry you don’t like it. I didn’t like my current town before we moved here (for a job). I still think it's worth it to have a suit with me on any trip with the slightest chance of water. It's better to have it than to be sorry! As for the sunhat, I don't regret bringing it because I left it at the apartment for future trips! Once less thing to pack (and I still have an older sunhat to wear here).</p> <p>I probably could have done without the Pendleton scarf, but it made a nice pillow on the plane, and would have been a good plane blanket if I'd needed it. Both our flights were more hot than cold.</p> <p>Also, I didn't find myself in need of anything I didn't have, but my Chucks didn't have any added insoles in them, which made them a poor choice for a 32,000-step day. I think your poncho is the best choice. I am wishing you the best of luck house hunting. The closer to the beach, the less you will need air conditioning. Lack of seasons is hard but give yourself a couple of years to adapt. It is great wardrobe-wise. Wearing them in all seasons will allow them to wear out about the time fashion has changed.
