I'm happy wearing the same bag/jewelry/toque/whatever over and over, but I do feel the need to vary the colour and silhouette of my clothes. A few things I've learned: <ul> <li>I REALLY am over summer clothes by the end of summer - a sudden hot stretch spelled the death of styling, with uber-minimalist outfits for many of those hot days.</li> <li>Despite having a few workhorse pieces (white Birkenstocks, white bottoms; jean shorts for hot, "I just don't care" days, a white tee), I had a lot more variety and wore a lot more pieces than I would have guessed. Where I pretty much thought I have worn the same things over and over, in fact I wore 12 different bottoms, 14 different tops, and 5 different pairs of shoes since the 1st of the month. Accessories and bags were decided less varied (basically no variation at all actually).</li> <li>Definitely worth adding another white bottom and white top to the mix for next summer, as well as a new pair of Birkenstocks as my current pair are starting to look worn as I wear them constantly when it's hot.</li> <li>I have plenty of bottoms variation now, no need for more. Tops I could stand to add one or two but don't need much. A fresh handbag would be good, and I need to start wearing my accessories (or stop buying them, not sure which ha!)</li> </ul> A very worthwhile exercise! Hope everyone else's tracking is going well. </p>
