The jacket looks great and I like the way you've styled it. I think the sweater would look great with skinnies and pencil skirts, possibly flared skirts too.

KILLER jacket! Don't you dare consign it. It's very flattering!!!

What seems to be the trouble with styling it? You've put together an 11 out of 10 outfit here :)
(Waving) Hi, beautiful sweater twin (both you and the sweater)!

I really like the jacket. I think the vertical elements in it make it work really well. As another IT, I know exactly what you are worried about, but it doesn't "read" as broadening your shoulders at all. Keep and enjoy!

For the sweater, I was wearing it last night with my faded blue AE straight leg jeans and really loved how it looked. (See how fab Pete looks in his flag jacket here, grey jeans and brown boots.) You've seen mine with white jeans and dark blue jeans. Now I've seen your gorgeous pairing with grey.

If I had the pieces, I'd really play up the punk and mod elements of mine. Maybe a windowpane plaid or a full on plaid with it. But I don't. Sadness. So I'm hoping someone else on the forum will be so bold. :)

I love the orange dots on the sweater and the detailing on the jacket is divine. I love Inge's suggestion of white skinny jeans.

I agree, that jacket is very nice on you. It is sleek despite being a relaxed fit. Hope the snow holds off for you!

That jacket is superb on you! Love the detailing. And the sweater looks wonderful, too. Inge has great styling suggestions. I don't know if you could wear it with a skirt, but it might be worth a try?

I agree with Diana and Ceit, the jacket is wonderful on you, it has a relaxed fit but certainly does not make you look bigger. I also always love how you rock the skinnies tucked into knee-high boots look. That merino sweater is such a happy sweater for a dreary day (or any other day;-)

I bet it would also look fab with white jeans (skinny, bootcut, boyfriend), perhaps faux or semi tucked with a great belt, and a pair of oxfords, loafers or booties.

That jacket is fab and does not make you look larger at all! I think having strong shoulders is actually a prerequisite for this kind of jacket, so it hangs right off of the shoulders. Plus you are tall. (This type of jacket makes me look swamped because my shoulders are rounded and the jacket is always too long for me.)

The sweater is fantastic too. Love the color on you. I want to see some pattern mixing with it! (with something blue/white or black/white perhaps?)
I wore the merino j crew sweater that k can shop has today. it was expected to snow 3-6 inches ( has not happened yet, thankfully). paired it with adriano goldschmeid grey skinnies, blondo vergara boots and an oversized bcbg max azria jacket.

my question is: the bcbg max azria jacket is fantastically made but oversized. Does the oversized look on my iT/rectangular frame make me look larger? It was a recent purchase. But should I consign it?

Also how else would you wear this sweater ( k can shop has a great inspiration example of course)
