I wear quite a bit of Halogen, I think, and I haven't had issues with the quality. I have at least one Halogen jacket that I think looks a lot more expensive than it was, and I've had it several years. <br />These vests may indeed serve similar purposes, and I can see you in both of them. The vibe is pretty different, though: the Halogen one looks crisp, as DonnaF notes, and the Eileen Fisher is a knit. Would you wear dark blue? Included in the box was this Halogen vest. The fit on the model seems a bit wonky, maybe a bit big and boxy? I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. The fit is perfect (size small for me). The fabric is soft and nice. I hope it holds up. I haven't purchased many Halogen brand items. Is the quality good? I will try to add a picture tomorrow. I am planning to wear this over tanks, tees and sleeveless dresses. </p> <p>I also purchased the EF vest for comparison. It hasn't arrived yet, but it's clearly much more expensive. While the styles are slightly different, I believe I can substitute one for the other for the purposes I intend. What do you think? </p>
