In the end, I switched them. I tried both pairs on for my husband and he much preferred the black ones, and since I was waffling anyway, that kind of decided it. And I have to say, the black ones look really good on. And they go with everything. And they fill that blasted wardrobe hole that I've had for about two years. Now I have shoes to wear with my midi skirts -- even the charcoal one! The floral ones just don't fit into my wardrobe as well. I aim for a rock n' roll edge, and those are romantic.</p> <p>But they're still gorgeous. Someone ELSE needs to buy them! C'mon, who's got a romantic element to their style? I had only seen the black ones, but not tried them on. Well, ladies, they look REALLY GOOD on. You know how that sometimes happens? Something looks nice on display, but awesome in ways you didn't anticipate when you put it on? My friend and I agreed that both the floral and the black were beautiful, but for totally different reasons.</p> <p>I've tried on the floral ones with everything I own and they go with lots of things in my wardrobe, but here's the thing: I have two pairs of beautiful red heels that go equally well with the things the florals go with. And the things the red pumps don't totally go with? The florals don't, either. But the blacks would literally go with *everything* I own (except maybe I wouldn't wear them with short skirts, since I only wear boots with short skirts). I couldn't decide between the black ones or the olive/taupe ones. I went for the black, figuring they would go with more (they do). But I really loved the olive ones too, and by the time I could afford a second pair, they were gone, gone, gone.
