Maybe I need to reconsider if they are tough enough or too dainty. </p> <p>Joy, do you really see these as leggings? That’s how Soft Surroundings labeled them, but they often play fast &amp; loose with terms for clothing items. The fabric is woven damask, heavy enough that they seem like actual pants to me. </p> <p>That said, there is nothing happening on the top part of them—no pockets, belt loops, pleats or anything—so they probably are best with a long top. As for adding interest to the cranberry top jewelry is your best bet, or maybe a top that has a more interesting cut (versus one that's cut like a tee) so that it adds its own. They are as thick as pants, so I think I could wear them that way, but just the cranberry top is boring. I’m not sure about the blush either. It still has tags on, was purchased as a possible mate for those shorts (I have a ton of “lab” pix of them to put up someday when I get them cropped) </p> <p>I’d like to wear clunky footwear, to balance out my top half, but I don’t think any of these boots are “it”. Do you? I know the photos are dark, but hope you can see profiles/shapes. I think the first ones make me look like an NS officer.
